Table browser

Every table, one keystroke away.

The Tables page is now a popover in the sidebar. Press ⌘2 or click Tables. The search box is focused as it opens, environment chips filter the list, favorites sort first, and Enter opens the selected table. Table settings are one click from any query tab.

Highlights

01Fuzzy search, already focused

The popover opens with the search box focused. Type a few letters in order, adjacent or not, and the list narrows as you type. The count in the header follows it.

02Favorites first

Star a table and it sorts above a hairline at the top of the list. The dashboard Favorite Tables card picks the change up, and its Manage link opens the popover.

03Environment stripe and chips

Every row carries a colored stripe on its left edge and a badge reading prod, staging, dev, or unclassified. The Env row holds one chip per environment present, with its count. Select any mix to filter.

04Keyboard all the way

Up and down move the selection while focus stays in the search box. Enter opens the selection, or the first match while a query is typed. Esc closes.

05Table settings from the rail

Every query tab has a Table settings control under the action rail. It opens a dialog whose sections are Overview, Indexes, Embeddings, one for Capacity, TTL & Streams, then Fetching & Editing, and Actions.

06Right-click keeps every action

Right-click any row for Open, Add favorite, View Schema, Export to S3, Set Environment, Update Settings, Manage Indexes, Create in workspace, and Delete Table. Each dialog outlives the popover.

Everything inside

Overview at a glanceItems, Size, and Avg item, the Partition and Sort keys, Status, Capacity, Region, TTL, Deletion protection, Streams, and every secondary index with its projection. Show schema JSON reveals the raw DescribeTable output.
Indexes and vector indexesAdd GSI or Create vector index from the Indexes section, then Apply Changes, without leaving the query tab.
Capacity, TTL & StreamsSwitch Billing Mode between Pay per request and Provisioned, enable point-in-time recovery, set the TTL attribute name, and turn on streams with a view type. Save Changes writes them.
Fetching & EditingPage Size, Stream Batch Size, Auto-Scan on Open, and Lock Key Editing, each showing where its value is inherited from, with a reset back to it. The results bar Override table settings edits the same four values.
Table settings from the rowHover any row in the popover for its Table settings link. It opens the same dialog for that table without opening the table itself.
Built for big accountsThe list is virtualized at a fixed row height, so a region with hundreds of tables scrolls like a region with five. Workspace prefix filters hide tables by name, and a muted note counts what they hid.
