Command palette
Every command,one keystroke away.
Press ⌘K and search every table, command, saved query, tab group, and workspace in one list. Every word you type has to match something on the row, the group you meant leads, and the rows you choose come back sooner. A prefix narrows the list, ⌘K on a row opens its actions, and a destructive command always asks first.
Type a prefix, get a scope. Type : for actions, saved queries, and tab groups, # for your favorites and then every table, or @ for workspaces. The prefix becomes a chip beside the input, the list shows that whole scope, and the other two prefixes are named underneath. Backspace on an empty input removes the chip. Pick a workspace under @, type #, and the list holds only that workspace's tables. See the table browser →
Every row has actions. Press Tab on the highlighted row to open its actions as a page, without leaving the palette. A table offers Open table, Open Table in New Tab, Toggle Favorite, View Table Schema, Copy Table Name, and the rest of its menu. A saved query offers Run saved query, Open its table, and Delete saved query. The panel and the right-click menu run the same commands, so a verb cannot mean two things in two places. ⌘Enter runs the first action straight away.
Commands follow what is in front of you. With rows selected in the grid, the palette offers Copy 2 rows as JSON and Clear 2 selected rows, titled with the real count, and drops them when nothing is selected. A command whose title ends in … opens a page instead of running: Query by index… lists the open table's primary key, GSIs, and LSIs, and choosing one sets that tab's index. Destructive commands never run from Enter alone. They open a confirmation that carries a Production badge on a production table. See environment safety →
Built for the keyboard
Tables, favorites, saved queries, tab groups, workspaces, and every command, with no prefix needed. The name counts most, and a word-start match ranks above a scattered one.
Every word has to match something on the row, and the words can land on different parts of it, so orders east finds the Orders table in us-east-1.
The palette remembers each choice, weights it by how recently and how often you made it, and forgets it over a few weeks. A clearly better text match still wins.
When a hidden keyword is what matched, the row shows it beside the title, so reload explains why Refresh Tables is in the list.
Up and Down wrap, ⌥↓ and ⌥↑ jump between groups, Tab opens the actions for a row, Escape goes back one page, and ⌘1 through ⌘9 run the Nth visible row, skipping any destructive one.
When the workspace session has expired, Run query becomes Reconnect to Execute Query / Scan in the same place, and choosing it starts that workspace's own sign-in.
