01Three formats, three ways in

Drop a file, browse for it, or paste straight into the editor. JSON, CSV, and TSV, with the format set from the file extension and a Format button that tidies what you pasted.

02Five named steps

Data Source, Mapping, Validate, Settings, Import, on a rail across the top. A finished step turns into a button that takes you back to it.

03Validate before commit

Every failing cell takes a red border, and the errors panel lists each one by row, field, and message. Next stays inert, with the reason beside it, until they are resolved.

04Overwrite or merge

Overwrite replaces any item with the same key. Merge combines attributes and asks which side wins in a conflict.

05Tuned writes

Concurrency and Batch Size are yours to set, and a summary chip names the items, fields, and target table before you start.

06A run you can stop

Written, Errors, and Remaining tiles update as batches land. Stop import halts the queue and keeps the counts. Any batch DynamoDB rejects is listed by item count, first and last key, and message.

Everything inside

Data SourceA drop zone beside an editor seeded with a template for the selected format. Dropping a file sets the format from its extension and formats the contents.
MappingIncoming, Type, Destination, Ignore. Two badges track fields mapped and required fields mapped over a completion bar, and the Data preview shows sample values for the selected row.
ValidateMap and list values render as a one-line JSON summary, missing values as null or empty, and a column with errors is marked in its header.
SettingsConflict Resolution and Merge Strategy on the left, Concurrency and Batch Size on the right, with a hint on what higher values cost in write capacity.
ImportProgress over a bar, Stop import, and an Errors table with one row per rejected batch: Batch, Items, Keys, Message, and Error code. Copy errors carries the full set.
Locked while runningThe dialog cannot be dismissed mid-run. After a stop, Back returns to Settings so the run can be adjusted and started again. Files come in through the OS file picker, not a web-style upload box.
